Thankyou for driving that Mustang. These cars are ment to be driven and driven hard at times. Hate when they sit and wait away. BTW I am a Chevy fan lol must respect bro

@kenfirch Great comment! ..."a bit warmed over"
I have a little 289 H.O. in my 67 Cougar that I 'warmed up'. Which, when I give people rides, they have great difficulty believing me that the power's coming from this so-called little motor, and has this much kick in the rear.
I love my big blocks, but that little 289 screamer is my fun-n-joy.

This is on grant line and highway 99. I love off of calvine, beautiful car I have a 66 coupe and I just bought a repro shelby tac like the one on your dash. How do you like it there? I really like the look

I know a guy that has his original 68 GT500 and he bought a 2006 Gt500 to match it.

It's great to see one of these still driven hard and enjoyed. Great, great car man, enjoy it and happy new years.

Very nice job. I'll tell you, I wish they made muscle cars like this. My dad bought one of these about a month after the release. When he was too old to enjoy it (which is hard to believe) he have it to me. It was the Black finish with gold stripes. I had it for 25 years. I sold it when I got married because I had no money. Always wish I could get it back. Thanks for the video partner!

Original close ratio T-10 is sitting on the shelf. Running a T-5, which I'm surprised has held up to the abuse.

The first 920 or so 66's had the 65 style overrides. Magnaflow 3 exhaust.

at 2:01, is that you reat suspension that comes through the floor? It looks like the mount for that coil sits under, or just behind the back seat. Are you happy with that set up?

Those are adjustable torque arms from Cobra Automotive that replaced the factory override traction bars:
They work great, but I'll probably put the original ones back on one of these days.
