Dave here with my entry in the PetrucciFever
Sounds of Summer guitar solo contest....
i placed at number 11 out of the 187 entries....not bad at all
I'd say! thanks so much to the judges!

Also, for those who wish to know...This is my setup...
I play through a Digitech 2120 guitar processor...It's powered by a 50 watt Mesa Boogie stereo power amp...
It all goes through 2 Marshall 4x12 cabinets in stereo...

I also sometimes use a Steve Vai Bad Horsie Wah Wah pedal...
I Play and love D'Addario XL guitar strings, the gauge is 10 through 46 (EXL110),,,

I also use and LOVE V-Picks guitar picks...I use the "small pointed Lite" model....
Thats my story, and i'm sticken' to it...

  • @ebealienhead i sure will :)

  • Hi n3osamura1 ! my rig is a Digitech 2120 guitar processor powered by a 50 watt Mesa Boogie stereo power amp through 2 Marshall 4x12's in stereo.

  • I'm sorry, I know you've probably gotten asked this 5000 times, but what equipment do you use (amp/fx) to get this smooth lead tone? I know a majority of the tone comes from your playing style, but I was just curious. I think what I'm most interested in is your delay unit.

  • thank you mayhembiff ! none taken :)

i'll try to keep the volume more even in the future...i appciate the feedback! happy new year!
