Whilst it would not be right to link AWARE to the rise in rape cases. It would be right to link AWARE to those who transgress against, violate, assault and, even, rape nature - via its activism in the schools, in seeding the minds of students grow that anal sex is "neutral". That anal sex is clearly unnatural.

I'm not saying AWARE has to be blamed for the sudden sharp rise.

Some other organisation, esp. the law enforcers should be blamed.

But AWARE could put pressure on these determining forces, which it has not done, or maybe, does not DARE to do.

AWARE is also about the promotion of women's values and to help society take a correct perspective towards women.

There is no direct link, of course, to the rise in rape cases, and it is unfair to blame AWARE for such rise. But it should be under AWARE's scope as well. And pertaining to my earlier point on the broader issue of values of society, certainly there could be more effort by AWARE.

I don't see why it's not relevant, since AWARE takes care of women victims of spousal abuse, sexual assault, and rape, of course.
