Jesus cast the money changers out of the temple and overturned their tables. He didn't attack them or kill them. So yes, still a pacifist. And who has attacked you? I don't disagree with defending ones self, but what are you referring to? Who has attacked you? War of which we speak has nothing to do with anyone attacking you.

um..i know Jesus really good..He's my best friend, but even He got mad..remember when they turned His Fathers Temple into a sales place? He got mad..didn't act like a pacifist throwing everyones junk all over and breaking it. definitely, turn the other cheek..i believe in that, but if someone tries to kill me, forget it. i'll knock their heads off before i left them make my son an orphan. and i know that's fine with my Father in Heaven.

To truly be Christian you must follow the teachings of Christ. If you simply follow the Old Testament to a T then that would make you Jewish. There are things in the Old Testament that do not agree with the New Testament fully, but that's ok. Just understand that, for a Christian, the New Testament is far more important because it teaches love, peace, and charity. The Apostles preached against war and the early Christians were pacifists who refused to fight in the Roman army. Love your enemy.

I wasn't offended, I would prefer it if you would understand the fact that Jesus was the ultimate pacifist. Jesus sought to reform to old ways of the Hebrew temple and take the 10 commandments to a new level. Instead of though shalt not kill, you take it one step further and when one strikes you on the cheek you offer up the other. This is the basis of non-violent resistance. There were many people at the time claiming to be the Messiah, but Jesus was the only to do so through nonviolence.

i read the New Testament, have always read it. 20 years only reading it, then 10 years on the Old. the new Testement is the Good News one, and Bible prophecy from the Old Testament was fulfuilled when Jesus died on the cross for our sins. what i said up there was from the old testament, which you can't just leave it all out like it wasn't important, but i actually came here to say i'm sory if i offended you in anything i said. that wasn't my intent, so i'll go away now.

Hm, so you think Jesus preached that war or any violence was justified? Or did you only read the Old Testament?

i'll thank him if i want. there is a thing called righteous anger in the Bible..and there were wars that God led! so be it.
there will always be wars until the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ the Savious comes...King David fought wars also, and he was the apple of Gods eye..because David LOVED God, and wasn't ashamed of him.
Don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out. Oh, by the way say hello to Alec Baldwin and all thre other who "left" when Kerry lost, oh wait, they're still here, just like you (sadly) will be. Maybe you should try Kenya!! Dipshit!!
