Beautiful, thank you. After seeing an evening of the pain that people cause eachother and fellow living beings, this makes me feel better.

Katrina anniversary is tomorrow and I can't help but to remember this painful event and all these beloved babies. God rest their little souls.

My dog and I survived four hurricanes together.
This year we left for fear after the last one we would be seperated from each other.
I could lose alot of things in my life but not him.
That sad, sick guy who was rescued off the streets and nursed back to health by me and so many others.
Because he is my family and needs me as much as I need him.
This last christmas was his first one with snow.
I was truly overjoyed to see him play in snow for the first time in his life.

No dog or cat should have perished except the police seperated many people from pets.
They refused to allow animals in shelter and thus many pets were left behind to die.
I never let the police in my home or let them know I was home.
Covered my windows with paper and acted like I was home.
This was because my dog Rex a rescue from the streets needed us his family.
I could never have left him alone after being found sick and starving near a offramp.

Animal stuff is the only thing that gets me to cry hard.

very well done. I was sobbing. I can't even begin to understand the magnitude of what those animals and people were feeling. I have so much respect for those who came back to rescue these guys.

I was in NOLA for a wedding and Jazz Fest a few weeks ago, the first time in NOLA for 15 years. I was so impressed by the people there, with all they had gone through. After surfing You Tube for everything I could find about Katrina, this video brought it all home. God bless all who have had to deal with this horrible situation.

MY FAVORITE VIDEO OF THEM ALL!!!
