Making a Roborovski Hamster NATURAL Habitat

This is PART ONE of the process of making my roborovski's natural habitat. "Darling" will be very happy once it is finished. :)

A natural habitat is a type of cage of a hamster that has become very popular over the few years. After doing a lot of research about a roborovski's natural environment in the wild, I learned so much! Turns out, Roborovskis need much more than just aspen bedding, a house, and a wheel. They need to be able to forage for their food, climb around, burrow any time they want, dig in the sand and just feel like they are in the wild! I have decided to recreate a roborovski's natural environment by building a habitat where her natural instincts may take place any time she would like. It is very important to keep your hamster happy and the number one way to do so is to let it live its normal happy life.

You could use mesh on the back

I was told that if you want 2 hamsters they have to be littermates that have always lived together. You can't add another hamster later. Also if you separate roommates you can't put them back together again. They apparently will fight!
