Indian Police abuse rickshaw rider

Filmed in the town square of Puri in February 2006. The rickshaw man had strayed into an area that he was presumably not supposed to be in, so the copper made sure he would not do it again that day. Other rickshaws were seemingly allowed to ride by, unhindered by any abuse of authority by the police.

For some reason, this video has attracted dozens of comments, some racist, by utter numpties. If you are a numpty, feel free to reveal your foolishness with a comment. You may even get the Numpty of the Week award.

Poor tire.... I am guessing a lot of people here do not realize that this could cause a family to go hungry that night. The poor guy can not make money now until he gets a new tire it seems like nothing to us but in reality it is like taking a taxi cab drivers taxi cab away and saying get back to work.

who ever posted this video ,must know that this is india , u shouldnot tape these stuff and it wont change any thing , in india if you are dark skinned you will be ignored and ull have a hard time gtting a wife for sure let alone a GF,and if u r a girl just after hours the girl been born they kill her. well our police hussels weekly from us just to protect us they can damage our property its fine , this is india we been living like this for more then 400 years Its fine let it be like this
