  • If you have ever stood atop a moutain this song brings you right back to that moment; mine was whistler in British Columbia :)

  • @bsd300d

    Don’t know if I was on a top ?

But I was in British Columbia, Alberta, Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick, Ontario, the highlands, Whistler, Columbia Ice field and all the other Tourist and insider stuff in Canada.

This song remembered me to all the great places there !! It gives me all the time a goose flesh !

    See ya

    Rudi

  • Thank you so much for posting this! The photos are just gorgeous. I had the priviledge of living in Colorado for a time,in Apsen in the early 70's and in Colorado Springs later on, it was so beautiful and peaceful. Love John Denver, may he rest in peace. You did such a beautiful job on this video, thank you!

  • @diamondlotus3

Thanks Julie for you’re nice and kind comment !!

Never was in the US but sometimes in Canada and the pics reflect what I’m thinking if I hear this Song.

    Thank You

    Cheers Rudi

  • I just went to the John Denver Sanctuary last week in Aspen Colorado. I had to see your compilation again. It gives me a chill, and I live in Colorado.

  • Got to say, I have lived in Colorado, It is gorgeous..and love this song too..i love all John Denver music and was the best...i know some may not appreciate what i am going to say..but right now he is still singing his beautiful songs right beside our Lord.

  • @guionlawes A Rocky Mountain HIGH, silly.

  • John's wonderful appreciation for nature is certainly missed, along with his amazing guitar work & songs. Why DO the good die young? Maybe they are our angels.

  • I live at the base of these Rocky Mountains. Sad to see what has happened to some of these mountains.

  • When I was in boot camp, they reminded us what we were fighting for.....The mountains of colorado, the great plains of the midwest, the beaches of california and florida, and so on. We should all be proud of being American no matter which part, as it is all AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL. God Bless you all and Happy Leap Day!

  • @diamondlotus3 Me too. Ft. Collins, Horse Tooth Dam and Poudre Canyon area. In the early 70's. Yes, it was so beautiful and peaceful. Great people at that time. Before the "developers" and govt. moved in and started controlling everything. Everyone had respect for everyone out there then. Everyone loved their fellow man. All the rivers, lakes and creeks were crystal blue and non-polluted. All the land was free to roam and enjoy and you could smell the freedom in the air.

  • No offense but it's not just Colorado. There are places in this country that are so beautiful they take your breath away.I have been lucky enough to see many of them, but not even close to all. The swamps under a hot summer sunset, Letchworth state park called The Grand Canyon of the North, for good reason. The Appalachian Trail, Yellowstone, and 100's more. Man we've got one hell of a great country. Canada's also gorgeous, been fortunate to see only a few of their breath taking sites.Great Video!

  • @diamondlotus3 Even in 2012, stll enjoy this magic song and pure beauty of the place mentioned, never seen it with my own eyes. But much appreciated.

  • That pic at 3:43. was that taken in Estes park? It looks like Deer Mountain!

  • Beautiful song and scenery. Never been to Colo as from the east coast but one day will get there.
