French Horn, Month 14

A little bit of Harry Potter.... This piece has lots of odd intervals, and covers a greater range than I'm used to. A lot of the beginner pieces go step-wise up and down; this is the first one I've played that jumps around a bit; it's much more challenging. I'm playing it a little slowly, but that's necessary to be able to find the notes...

Slow but sure progress month on month...

Not bad for just over a year. Maybe you should start incorporating the Bb fingerings now, since you're using a double horn. Here to help if you have questions on what might help you! I love to teach!!!

You need AIR THROUGH YOUR HORN

Also, some of the articulations need to be more crisp, not hoohoo.

Unless you're going for a smoother sound. Then more air. looots.
