2009 Autism Speaks 400 Qualifying- Gordon Crashes (HQ)

This is Jeff Gordon's qualifying wreck at Dover. As you can see the he hit non-safer-barrier wall very hard. Racing with a already trouble-some back, Gordon is very shaken on the radio..

I hope Jeff Gordon is okay... I feel so bad for him!!!!

NOTE: Why were the fans cheering? Hey, Jeff loves it when you boo him for winning, but is it human-like to cheer after a driver hit such an open wall in that way... he could've been very hurt... remember what happened to Sr.? It is disappointing...

I myself am a Tony Stewart fan and as a competitive sport you have drivers you love, and drivers you hate, I myself am not a Gordon fan but that man is one of the toughest and most talented to every race in Nascar, hes been on his roof and taken some of the hardest hits i've ever seen and yet he comes back the next week, you can hate him, But you MUST respect him, and the reaction of those fans made me absolutely sick, glad hes ok and I look for a good race from him and Stewart come Sunday.

I didn't watch Qualifying, but I felt very bad for Jeff Gordon when he hit the outside wall hard. He could've been hurt.

I also didn't appreicate how the fans cheered when Jeff hit the wall hard.

If the fans cared and Jeff was hurt, they wouldn't cheer for that.

I feel that the fans should show a little more respect for the drivers if they get hit that like.

If you want to give me negative comments for this, go ahead but I think I bring up a good point.

the announcers beat me to it. very irritating when people would cheer when theirs a mishap on a qualifying run, i am a gordan fan myself and i don't have hate towards other drivers, i love them all.
