try focusing on using your abdominal muscles instead of your neck.

wow for my football team we do 10 of these everyday and we hold it for atleast 45 seconds the longest i think was like a minute and 45 seconds and its so hard but it helps your abs alot

i can do 300 crunches but can only do 20 leg lifts. My lower abs are under developed ;(
