BrewDog's Tactical Nuclear Penguin, a super-imperial 32% ice 'distilled' stout. What's it like? And is it really a beer? Or doesn't that matter...? This beer is great because it makes people really talk and that's pretty special.

  • That's funny it comes in that brown plastic bag. Is it so people dont know you bought it so they don't try to steal it from you? LOL

Yeah I've heard great things about this beer. I don't know why they put it in a 12oz bottle like any other beer. Sam Adams Utopia comes in a recloseable bottle so you can dispense 3 or 4oz and then close it back up.

Did you drink the entire bottle yourself? You musta been about 3 sheets to the wind afterwards!

  • One of the issues some people had about this was that it's in a 330ml crown cap, but I've opened them and left the cap on and kept the beer in the fridge for a few days and it's fine. A screw cap and larger bottle would be better but it would also be a lot more expensive!

I drank about half of it :)

  • I heard about this beer. in the us. sam adams makes a beer called utopia thats in the 30%, but its over 100 us dollars for a bottle. so its not even worth getting to try. what did it cost you for a bottle of that? I would love to try it just to say i did. great review. havent seen you in while.

  • This is expensive, £35 for that 330ml bottle. it's one for a special occasion, but it is very expensive. Luckily I've tried it a few times now and I think it's great! Would love to try Utopias.
