  • Denote two German aircraft shot down by that turrett

  • can someone help me understand, why the NAZI symbols on top of this B17?

  • my dad lived next to the memphis belle... the person

  • Based out of Geneseo NY, at the 1941 Historical Aircraft Group Museum.

  • very nice clip with awsome sounds. thank you

  • Excellent clip. This is the 'replica' 'Memphis Belle', actually an ex-fire bomber B-17G-85-DL (DL-license built by Douglas/Long Beach) very well re-engineered back to earlier model B-17F standards of the original 'Belle'. Was one of two

B-17s used in the 1989 movie to represent the 'Belle'. The late David Tallichet owned her at that time. Since the making of the movie, has had a more correct 'pointed' F-style nose and other period-correct details added by the current

    owners. Looks great!
