Feature story about VFW Post 2485 volunteers who take care of the American/Philippines cemetery on Clark AB. Interesting to see the how the Pinatubo eruption changed the landscape but not the resolve of these volunteers.
Does anyone know Gary Dale in US Air Force in Clark Base? Im looking for my father and my mother name is Josephine if that rings a bell to someone who was with my mom in those days.. And my father name is Gary dale, thats what my mom told me. 1984 to 1988 he was station around there but I know in 1987 he was there. I was born in1988
How can the Us Government just turn its back on a cemetary filled with soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice for thier country?? This is a shame. Where can donations be sent? I was stationed at Clark from 1987-1990 and personally would like to see this cemetary kept looking beautiful.
It is simply ridiculous that both the US and Philippine government do not support the cause of these war vets to keep the memories of our fallen heroes alive. These people sacrificed their lives so we could enjoy the freedoms that we take for granted everyday.
