Amazing Eswat Boss music. Total love for the ears.

Obviously I'm not playing to kill the heli as fast as possible - I actually held off just so that the music would have a chance to work its magic inside your head.

Maybe means nothing to those who never played Eswat, but take heed developers of the present - that's how you score a boss battle soundtrack.

Edit: Oddly, after compression some of the flashing effects when you hit the helicopter disappeared. Just a strange bit of trivia, that.

I must admit, that music is pretty epic. I never really gave ESWAT a great deal of attention even when emulation opened up opportunities for replay. :(

It's on the X360's Mega Drive collection, right? Maybe I could give it another look...

@qazimod Do it, baby. It's on that collection as you said, which is how I captured this video. I can only capture my 360, since I don't have component cables for the PS3 or any other system... a bit of a shame, but hey.

I always preferred the coin-op version of E-SWAT, which was quite different.

@ChesterBoo Yeah, I never did get to play it. That version reminds me more of Shinobi for some reason, which isn't a bad thing at all. That said, I watched a walkthrough on youtube and it doesn't seem to have this music which I <3

@tomfum High five, baby! You truly have impeccable taste.I just had the sudden urge to hear the this boss fight music again - and it's all the better since you're on a lift that never, ever stops until you blow the filthy bugger out of the sky. You simply can't get more 16-bit than that!

This certainly is great boss music. I've been playing a bit of arcade Eswat on MAME today, and I really feel the Megadrive version is way superior. Far better level design, bosses and music and whilst the Sprites are obviously a bit smaller than the arcade version, I think visually this looks far more atmospheric.
