There are different alergies though. I was allergic to normal cats, which is why i got devon rex's because they have down not fur. SOme poeple are allergic to the saliva and some to the fur.

we are allergic to him. they still produce the enzyme people are allergic to. It is in their saliva. they lick themselves, so it gets on their skin. but since there is no hair to fly around the house and sphynx cats require a weekly bath anyway, we don't have allergy issues with him.

But he is a cat. How much less dangerous than, say, mother nature? Tree climbing? Running from neighborhood dogs? There is thrill in danger.
