Tennessee Hound dog that becomes a legend in the blue ridge and' Appalachian mountains of East Tennessee and West Virginia. Song written by' Larry Joe Cashen and is for review and recording from' Houston Valley Music publishing. Put this Bluegrass kinda funny song on your next album. This song was written in my hometown of Newport and' Del Rio Tennessee in 1995. The legend says he was a full blooded REDBONE and yep' Old Killer still lives at the head of Wolf Creek on hwy 25/70 5 miles east of Del Rio Tennessee the land of CHRISTY. Got him an old lady and settled down to a very peaceful family life. He still gets the want to hit the timberline at night I can hear it in his bark...oh yah...there is little Killer's running around everwhere.
