Male sage grouse strut display, filmed near Hudson, Wyoming USA, using a high-speed video camera at 250 frames per second (Kodak Motioncorder with audio recorded spearately and synchronized in Adobe Premier). We are using these videos to learn how the vocal sacs function during sound production in these birds. Be sure to listen on speakers with sub-woofers to hear the low-pitched sounds.
