yes, i also dont think its a 900 gr going 2400 fps watch me shooting 700 nitro 1000 gr with 248 gr h-4831 over 2300 fps & with 17 lbs rifle & observe how far it pushes you back !!! load verified with a western powder guy withnesed that...so i call this 600 ok load a fake.. 1tufgun

@freedomsoldier187 true on the whale part lol i shot my first elephant with a 700 nitro double rifle when hunting stuff like elephant you cant really have to much gun and that bigger than this i was using a 1000 grain fmj at 2000 fps

@nitroexpress700 They are very distant relatives, however they are not dinosaurs.
Last I checked you don't hunt whales or sharks with a gun. This gun is all about the wank factor, pointless, irrelevant.
nothing a .50 BMG won't handle.

@freedomsoldier187 not true crocodiles and alligators ,and possibly a few others im missing are the last known relatives to the diasaurs you could also hunt whale's with this and sharks near the surface... also known to evolve from prehistoric animals....

if only that was justin biebers head.......
@sunshadow1012 thats a very interesting theory! However it was in fact a true 600, and it did give me a mild concussion when I shot it, but nothing hospital worthy fortunately. I do like the idea of detonators and explosives mixed with produce though...maybe next year! haha.

I'm calling bullshit on the load stats...that skinny little guy barely moved, both of his feet stayed planted.
It might be a .600, but it sure-as-hell isn't weighing in at 900+ grains and 2400fps.

@Stifsim6 I think you are actually correct. It started as a 900gr solid projectile, but the owner of the rifle actually drilled out a small amount of material to create a kinda sorta but not really hollow point. So it was probably in the 700-850gr range, but was still moving at no less than 2400fps. Also, I credit my flawless recoil management technique for my feet staying in touch with mother earth during this haha. It felt as if I had been hit by a bus when that shot went off.
