@goon303 This rule is not only for Japanese domestic but almost all 01 games of soft tip darts. Soft tip darts is majority in Asia and US.

Well, you have to give the Japanese players credit, because they were playing the International rules, which is Single Bull = 25, and you have to double out. Normally these Japanese players play Single bull = 50 and any out is ok. So, they were playing the European rules to accomadate Phil and John.

Although, John and Phil probably had to use lighter darts than they are used to. I'm guessing their darts are probably 16.5g but Phil usually uses 26g steel tips... .

yeh i agree, phil and paul would thrash them on blade 3 board instead of chucking lego. Bet the Japanease blokes would still be good though after a bit of practice, bring them down the Charles Darwin pub in Shrewsbury for a real game!
