  • Hi, I'm just wondering about the strength or brittleness of the 5th gen iPod video's male port. It's because I dock and undock my 80GB iPod video many tmes evryday to my iM11 speakers and I'd just lke to know if docking and undocking it many times is just OK? (Please take note that I do d docking & undocking really carefully.) It seems to me that the dock port in the iPod is built-in to the main board. How strong is it to withstand evryday docking/undocking? Can it b rpaired if it snaps? Thanks.

  • These can wear down over time, but they are pretty durable. Try to minimize the plug/unplug activity as much as you can.
