  • This is going to make all the townies trapped on the mainland cry.

  • I loved the video, and I love St Johns, going back up again this August for my 6th visit. Plan on retiring there in a couple of years. Its like no place else on earth, well except maybe for Ireland. This New Yorker is ready to embrace the province.

  • I was born there in 56 & have been back a few times. Wonderful place. Looking forward to going back this year too, I hope.

Great band, the Fables. Great Big Sea is a great Newfie band too. I have a relative in Canada who used to know Alan Doyle when she ran a pet care business.

Last battle of the Seven Years War was fought in St. John's in 1762. Anybody know if a 250th ceremony is planned?

  • I love this video.. Im Orginally from the bay but living in St.Johns for over 12 years which I call my home town You will never be board here there are lots of things to do and see around here. Im getting Married April of next year Im not going home to get Married getting Married here in Town. Great place to be weather it Raining or Suning

  • @TheRimDoctor I'm on a retainer with an ad agency there.

  • @norahharriet So what was ye going there for?

  • @709exp For me, I'm 16 and Theres nothing I love more than isolation. I could never live anywhere bigger than Gander, and St. John's is just a vacation. I plan on ending somewhere on the North coast like Greenspond, Fogo or somewhere off Twillingate or on the South Coast in perhaps McCallum or St. Bernard's-Jacques Fontaine. Just get me my Bottle of Screech.
