King's Quest VII - Kangaroo Rat

I can't imagine how junked out and smelly this guy's living room is.

Some items were not shown intentionally. The comb isn't shown because it doesn't fit the flow of the video. Some items not shown play a line already heard, although the rat has a different tone of voice (pot filled with water, other portal shapes). Two of Rosella's items get nothing from the rat, only a quick "No, that's okay," from Rosella (lantern, defoliant).

The recordings displayed toward the end of the video were stuffed into the game's resource files for some reason, although they are inaccessible within the game. Thanks goes to Akril and her website below, which is where I found the audio clips:

The game wants you to plant corn, so the basket gives you a second kernel if you trade away the first. Kind of silly though, since planting corn isn't necessary to beat the game.

@shadyparadox i know this is really far from when you posted this comment, but i'm curious how you don't need to plant the corn to beat the game, if you need it to get the fresh water, and give it to the ghost, and then you get the bug powder and horn, or the rope. So isn't it necessary?

@Nintendoman851 Nope, you can skip all that because you can first pick up the horn, then trade the corn kernel for the turquoise bead. Trade that at the bottom of the well for one portal piece, and use the flag in the temple to get the other.
