Several draws slowed down to help me pick apart my draw so I can get better. Video was shot at 30 frames a second and slowed down to roughly 1/16th speed. Please forgive the horrid sound.

Draw 1 Right shoulder comes up as I draw, I need to see about lowering my holster a bit. I also noticed I moved the gun a little to the left between first and second shot on target 1.
Draw 2 Again my right shoulder raises up on the draw and gun moved slightly between first and second shot.
Draw 3 Shoulder comes up once more, I really need to work on that.
Draw 4 Shoulder didn't come up as much as the first three draws but still moved some.
Draw 5 Slight shoulder rise but getting better. Mag change was very smooth for me.
Draw 6 Shoulder rise still there but getting better still. Again smooth mag change.
Draw 7 Draw wasn't too bad but mag change killed me.

  • Pretty much nailed it, right eye dom and shoot both eyes open. Over the next few months I will be focusing on my draw and keeping my head from moving and getting that gun up where it needs to be.

I will also keep on working my draws until I can get it as you described, I have gotten that from a few shooters on Enos' web site as well.

  • Hi Joe, you are dropping your head on the draw. Practice keeping your head up and bringing/indexing the gun to your face.

Let me guess, your dominant eye is the right? Do you shoot Both Eye's?

Lastly on the reload, your dropping your gun down. Your losing a little more time with having to bring it up to reacquire your sights.

Other than that, looks good, keep up the hard work.
