What i like about san soo in comparison to arts like karate is it is so much more circular by nature which in my opinion works so much better because circular patters follow the natural flow and progression of the tao. Which emulates all things. Circular breaks down straight hard lined attacks and can be applied to anything in combat.

Show up to any SAN SOO studio, do a combat work out, and you will see and feel that there is no joke here. good luck.

You trained with Master Vigil also? Was it just me or did you get a lump in your throat when during a workout he'd say "let me try something" and grab your gi... *thud, thud, splat!* I learned quite a bit from him!

Wow, awesome workout guys. Silvio Macias is one of the best San Soo fighters that I have ever seen. Second, of course to Master Dave Hopkins and Bill Vigil. By the way what ever happened to Master Vigil? Is he still teaching? If yes, can someone tell me where?

One of Dave's students started training at a gym in Lake Elsinore in January 2008. I started the first day of class and love it.
I wouldn't mind driving up to the studio to watch. I hope I can find a more specific address for it. =D
