Plug-in Vehicles 2008: What Role for Washington, was an effort of both Google.org and the Brookings Institution to stimulate the debate and catalyze change on plug-in vehicle policies in Washington. This video is the first half of the banquet dinner after the first half-day of the conference. During this part of the dinner, The Honorable Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), Chairman, Senate Republican Conference, and the Honorable John Dingell (D-Mich.), Chairman, House Committee on Energy and Commerce, made remarks on the state of plug-in vehicle policy.
