Mendelssohn; It's my dream to play some of his work. (Before this, I managed to have the honor of playing Britten's Simple Symphony, conducted by the one and only Courtney Lewis!)

@anam713: It is always better to be accurate than to be fast. This is often a reflection of the Orchestral Director. Bravo Brasilia and Ira Levin!!!

I'm crying, I absolutely loved playing this piece

Gahhh stupid people getting up and leaving! I play viola and the 6/8 part is indeed very difficult. At least i believe i remember it being in 6/8!

Playing this next week! sooo good

I this this performance of it is a little too slow....we played it faster in my high school orchestra.

@magic1qaz I played viola for it and I loved it. The only hard part was when you enter 1:15 - 1:30. Simply the bowing being off beat + on beat really confused me.

I actually played this piece a couple weeks ago.

Absolutly love this piece, but I love this movement the most. I play clarinet in my youth orchestra and love it. It's good to hear clarinetist with a beautiful rich tone something I'm trying to get. Amazing playing for the full orchestra!

Clarinet musicians Profs. Renata Meneses and Marcos Cohen will be glad to hear your comment! I agree with you: a beautiful symphony and a beautiful tune from Martin Luther well quoted by great Mendelssohn! Keep going on your clarinet practice and (perhaps) professio!
