@surg23 I agree with you on that point, but playing with a friend makes your game very different. When I play with my friends, I really don't care if I win or lose, because I have such a good time. On the other hand, when i'm solo quing, I got the whole "MUST WIN" philosophy, so when I lose or have a troll in my team, it really makes mad

Usually Nidalee is against melees at solo top. Also, good nidalees (so far the high elo AD ones) build wriggles lantern.

You also can't complain about sustain because starting with boots+3 pots or cloth+5 pots AS A RANGED completely negates sustain problems, but then again Nidalee shouldn't be losing health, she should constantly be farming until wriggle's lantern so that she can constantly harass.

@Keviamaya i would rather build her hybrid than ad,, ap is my favorite way though, ad is viable, the only non viable way to play nid in my opinion is tank

@ChowCentral also nid doesn't have a great sustain, sure u can heal the dmg of the enemy and harass for a while, but the problem with nid is that her heal takes too much mana, now that's ok if u are an ap or hybrid cause u can heal by an insane so it balances out with the mana cost, but as an ad the mana cost just isn't worth it, and there goes the sustain that u may have as an ad nid (if they choose renekton or warwick you are fucked)....but hey that's just my opinion ;D

@0v4rypunch3r hmmm again, i still dont see why u will play her an ad, i mean there's nothing wrong about an hybrid build, you get all the strengths of an ap build (heal, spear and the cougar w and e) and you still don't loose what makes ad so special (the q and the attack speed of heal)....but again, maybe im wrong and the q of cougar maybe is worth to build ad, but i think there are better ad characters that can do the job better (like renekton or irelia as a solo top ad)

@ChowCentral i still dont see why she would be viable, i mean if u want an ad carry there are better ones than nid, like lets say tristana, vayne or graves, they all do the job of ad better than she can. however what makes nid soo good as a solo top laner is the heal, but as an ad nid ur heal is useless (and then u have less sustain in lane), and so is your spear, i just dont see the point of wasting all the nid abilities like that, but maybe shes viable in high elo,but i just havent seen one

AD Nidalee is only weak below 1200 ELO (aka noobs). AD Nidalee however is very common above 1500 ELO due to her never being able to be kicked out of lane unless she is ganked extremely early.

She can kick 90% of the top lane champions (usually the ones with no sustain, which is half of the solo top champions such as Singed) out of their lane due to her powerful autoattacks early on and when she's 6 she becomes extremely tanky with her HoG+ult passive+runes+masteries+items.
