hi I have 5 broken disks, l-1-2-3-4-&5 with 5 fussions, water therapy got me out of a chair and now use a walker for getting around, slowly but surely, Try it, you will be able to get around, your weightless and can concentrate on rebuilding your motion, youneed to try it asap, you will be amazed!!!!(also, a complete injury usually means you have completely severed spinal cord with no movement in your legs or arms or both! luckily you appear to have both, so get into that water, life is waiting
Thank you. I have gotten back all that I will and I have used water therapy as part of that retraining. My injury though was severe enough that there was insufficient recovery to park the chair and walk away. Your comments are otherwise exactly what I tell others though. Give it all you got and see what happens. Don't just sit back and take what a doctor tells you. The gains you make...even if not to walk again, should never be ignored.
Thank you for the support. You never know if you don't try. And I found out that there were a lot more messages getting to my muscles than I thought. These moments have been very cool.

Depends on how I'm feeling on the particular day. If i trigger spasms, then they can be painful. Otherwise, it's not usually bad.
