I wrote this sonnet at age 16. I still like it, so I decided to record it.

Instrumental is sampled from 'Soul Survivor' by Young Jeezy.

Produced by DJ Matt Werner

Sonnet 19:

What time will teach my adolescence wit?//
And what will adolescent wit, teach time?//
For adolescents lack that wit, of which//
Adults preoccupy themselves to find.//

But happy I am lacking this insight,//
And free am I in my own ignorance.//
My little sense is seen in what I write—//
For age brings wisdom, and wisdom brings sense.//

Those older need this spare sense to erase//
The masks they wear to hide their dreams' design.//
Age's mask is not how time shapes one's face,//
Rather, how one shapes his face, facing time.//

How peculiar is time's sense in age forsooth!//
Searching for the wisdom that it had in youth.
