In this episode of the Glenn Beck program, Fox News contributor Judge Andrew Napolitano is filling in for Glenn. The judge very effectively and succinctly addressed the classic debate regarding the private sector and the relatively poor performance of government-run programs, with the debate over the health care legislation being the catalyst. You can't say it much better than Judge Napolitano did.
He said in part, "When the voters conclude that the public treasury has become a public trough, then they will send to D.C. only those who will get them as many freebies as they can, and our constitutionally guaranteed values of private enterprise and private property will be gone forever."
This is not unlike my previous assertion that all too many Americans are now trying to get all they can FROM their country ... President Kennedy's inaugural admonition turned on its head.
