The Hollywood ESL Project 7: The Screen Test

In the summer of 2009, twenty middle-schoolers in Suwon, South Korea participated in an English camp that put them on both sides of the movie camera. Their task - to direct and star in their own reproductions of scenes from various Hollywood films.

This is their portfolio in seven parts, as edited and presented by their very impressed foreign English teacher.

This video compiles clips from the Screen Tests done by the student actors. As a listen and repeat exercise, 37 movie lines from 33 different Hollywood films are used to determine which students should be cast into each role for the scenes posted online.
