Me and my friend Keith Campbell took our sons to visit Bert on his lizard ranch in Alabama a few times, and I decided to shoot a home video on one of the trips we made back in 2007. We were buying a few of his shinisaurus offspring so had a few questions for him about keeping them, and of course, he always had more answers than we had questions, as was his way.

If you can get past the amateur video and my sloppy filming, there is some terrific content in here especially on keeping shinisaurus lizards, but just in general for managing all lizards in captivity.

Also, it is just nice to have this memory of Bert to remember him by. He was the most successful lizard breeder I ever knew, and a wonderful human being. He is missed by all who knew him well and may he rest in peace.
