This is using actual Star Trek music from ST:VOY episode Heroes and Demons "The Suite from Heroes and Demons- Dr. Schweitzer" written by Dennis McCarthy.
I like many others couldnt stand the theme song, so I decided to replace it. However I didnt want to reach outside the star trek universe and introduce something foreign ( like Rod Stewart) , so I reached inside the Star Trek Universe. I quickly found this one on a Star Trek CD that synced up perfectly as if meant to be. It has undone all the mental and emotional damage that the real song has done to the point that my mind and emotions respond to this song. Everytime the intro comds up, I hit mute, and play this, and Pavlov's bell rings clear. So I am sharing it with the world in hopes that it spreads joy and happiness to all Trekkies(ers) alike.

Good piece of music but it doesn`t really go with it. I think they chose Faith of the Heart due to it was humanity`s (in ST universe) time to grow from a adelesonce period to Adulthood. Humanity today I believe has been in its adolesence since 1700`s to present because look at all the wars between then and now, it is like the rebelliousness and hormones teens go through.

I know there was a lot of wars before the 1700`s, just most weren`t at that large to larger of a scale (look at WW1 and WW2)

I think a much better theme would be the theme from Generations. Take a look at my mix: watch?v=OB46xtU8JLU
