building this model seems really hard to me
-
Will it blend? that is the question.

The "music" ruins this video. Music of the period (18th, early 19th centuries) can be quite pleasing even to a "rocker" in small doses. The frantic pace of this audio is entirely inconsistent with the slow, painstaking process of building a fine model.

if one could purchase fully built this caliber of model, how much in ball park rage would she cost a person.

If ya caan put something on it, so it can float, and so it can float with the wind a bit to have fun with, then i'd buy it xd When im lots older and have money and time to waste, id luv to build the grand 106 gunner :)

Um i'm kind of stuck.
how do you make the keel?

The keel is a seperate piece of wood glued into place after the hull has been planked. I cut a groove with a Dremel to fit the one in the vid

hey when you plank the bulkheads with 1 layer of wood what do you do about the holes from the pins?

Dont push the pins in all the way. Leave the heads proud and snip these off. Tap in the remaining pin stub flush with the wood.
