jeez,throw away this stupid singer,he couldnt even make a good superman-movie with the ORIGINAL superman!!! it takes a lot more to make a good one as this everytime boring luthor and this crappy romantic stuff,which doesnt fit into a superhero movie. And pls : dont do a sequel with this other krytonians,there are a loooot more and better villains for superman,which had the ability to kick the batmanmovies out of the cinema. i hope and pray for it.

Enough already,Superman Returns,was unwatchable from routh to bosworth if that's who played Lois.Why do these producers insist on going against what people really want to see.which is Tom Welling,Erica Durrance etc,etc,Brandon Routh wasn't typecast,he's just not much of an actor.

Brandon Routh was good as Superman but there really is no point in casting him for the new Superman because of the different direction they are taking with the new film. Brandon Routh belongs to Bryan Singers superman world which is similiar to all the other depictions of the man of steal. They will most likely cast an actor who will play a different Clark Kent/Superman role that will suit the tone of the new film.

I actually felt sorry for Routh when he took the role as Superman. Its a terrible thing to be typecast and as a first role for a young actor to play such an iconic figure it might have happened...... that is if Superman Returns had led to sequels. As it is his career has not gotten much of the ground and i Blame Superman Returns for that too

I thought Brandon Routh made aa great Superman, and i agree bryan Singer could have made the film a hell of a lot better!!

They don't need to do a reboot. Superman Returns was good. It wasn't perfect but neither was Spider-man 3 and there's 3 more Spidey movies coming.
Just rev up the action and keep the costs down. Brandon Routh pleased many. So it shouldn't be a problem. I don't get the big deal.
