  • Harrelson's resume is much more impressive than jennifer anistons, but none of these videos are very well made

  • I would expect something stupid like this from Woodenhead Harrelson, but I'm surprised JA would act so stupidly as here.

  • Kill Than shwe first,So burma will be FREE...Im half burmese.

  • Do you not watch any of the other videos they put up? They clearly tell you whats going on...

  • i think the jim carey one is a better one. but i think they did it alot of different ways 2 get more ppl watching (eventho they still have 2 be lookin up celebs on youtube). sum ppl will hopefully watch this n think "burma, wuts that?" and look up it up but luckily they did other adds that do educate about the situation in Burma

  • i would have to agree with Gurizin. the video is just too abstract, and hence uninspiring. Check out the ones by Jim Carrey and Will Ferrell. They talk to you head on and express it in a more urgent and passionate way. Thats the way it should go Jennifer.

  • Did any of you know more about the situation in Burma after watching this video alone? No. This just gets us motivated for this very honorable cause, to save Burma, except that they dont exctly tell us what is going on in Burma, which defeats the entire purpose. To motivate a cause, you have to tell others what you are FIGHTING FOR, not some drama dialogue skit. Nice try but better luck next time Jennifer :-l

  • No offense but this video is too much of acting, indirect implication, and ambiguous dialogue. A simple "Hi, we're Jennifer Aniston and Woody Harrelson. Everyday, millions of people in Burma......junta... killed and oppressed everyday. (images and news reports flash past the screen) Help us to campaign for Burma and support this worthy cause. Thank you." would be a much better video to support FreeBurma. This, is really too on the drama side, and less on the informative side.

  • I dont think the China one works because China is an Asian superpower which makes many countries' economies go round, not only Burma's. So by boycotting China, Burma as well as many other countries depending on its exports, businesses etc like Japan, Singapore, European countries and even USA will be affected. and for the record, such a big economy as china to be boycotted, that will never happen :S

  • Gurizin, yes I believe it is a message of sarcasm. But perhaps since we are used to Jen's straightforward personality in Friends, many may have misunderstood her intention as rather shallow. however there is a meek tinge of intended aloofness to suggest sarcasm, so i guess yes, there is use of sarcasm even though its not very direct.
