you can just use the polygon lasso tool! (no offtens) just teaching

No, cause that tool sucks... And i really don't like it. If you make a mistake with it, you can't just press ctrl+alt+z, to undo it. You have to redo the whole thing.

Check your pentool settings at the top of the screen.

yeah this only works if the car is at the edges of the picture...

No it doesn't. If it isn't at the edge of the picture, then you just have to fix the background! ;-)

Um, thats why they invented quick mask mode. No need to get perfect the first time, just paint what you want selected, or erase what you don't!
