Zero wasn't Lelouch, Lelouch wasn't Zero. o.O They made that obvious in the episode where Zero was exiled from Area 11. Zero is a symbol, not a person. It doesn't matter who is behind the mask, the symbol of Zero will always be Zero.

@ZeroDarkOmega Eventually the right substance will be made, but even so it will take years before we will see anything close to the design of a knightmare or Gundam.

@GeassReaper1 i get the feeling someone will come up with some composte material thats light strong and can take a hit if they dont already have something sutiable time will tell

@ZeroDarkOmega Also the many governments of the world have invested much into energy sources so that would not be the biggist problem facing the design of a mecha. The biggest setback is finding a support system light enough to support speed in combat but strong enought to support the massive weight of the machine while being durable to resist damage mid combat.

@ZeroDarkOmega Thats true Mecha are simply the ultimate form of human interface combat and as seen in the military now a regular human with the proper equipment can easily defeat any type of vehicle wether its on land sea or air. This being said a mecha is simply an exoskeleton used to amplify the pilot in size and power the problem is the military dosent care about the human weapon and there fore puts its funding in other fields, fields that are cheaper and more universal.

@GeassReaper1 they seem more than effective against tanks and with support that should lower the air threat to me they seem like an excelent idea it would revolutionize warfare if they could make a combat capable mech but i wonder how they would power them it would have to be something crazy i bet
