@bamaslamma1003 Maybe that could work. I'm not entirely sure how it's set up. I've never worked with radios before.

That is awesome! Is the signal strong enough to excite mercury atoms in fluorescent lights, making them glow? I love the creation LOL, and good choice in tunes, too. Imagine if somebody nearby was walking with a portable radio switching stations when he/she comes across this? It would be funny to see a reaction! LOL

@BowlingMania14 Unfortunately the signal from this transmitter isn't strong enough to light a fluorescent lamp. My CB will do it though.

@bamaslamma1003 Ohhh ok. Would you do any modifications to this thing if you wanted a stronger signal? That would probably require changing electrical components inside.

@BowlingMania14 It has an "antenna out" jack. Maybe connect an external amplifier.

@bamaslamma1003 You can add an antenna to that jack and it will greatly increase distance...but the antenna needs to be "tuned" IE: sized for the frequency you'll transmit on. (somewhere i had the formula for it..no idea where LOL, but you should be able to just Google it )
You can add an external Amp for more range, but that will violate FCC limits (personally don't think i'd risk it).

@XmasLightsGuy As far as tuning the antenna goes, having an SWR meter helps too. But I don't know of any that will work with such a small amount of power.
