@CodenameBourbon lilith is Eve's real name. She was the second angel. Eva is short for evangelion, which is from evangelical.

@OMLRUSSEL the story is based loosely on the religious references so to speak. but I already know quite a bit of evangelion. so no thanks. such EVA=EVE, dead sea scrolls are acknowledge in real life. lance of longinus supposed was the lance killed jesus the christ. angels named after angels, etc etc. this anime changed a lot from it's development. but hey, it worked out!

You guys should see Ramiel in rebuild of Evangelion and you'll see why he's my fav angel. oh and that metareal was the weakest angel, thats why it attack when theres no power at NERV HQ.

true, it takes two shots of Japan's power supply that results to nationwide blackout, and major eva damage to bring down Ramiel ( i call him? Prism Guy) while Metareal just takes a couple of shots of a machine gun , while in power reserve,
