Anthrax, nerve gas, industrial accidents. The thought of such things strikes fear in all of us. Thankfully, there are systems in place if such an event should occur. Join Drs. John Blossom and Christian Sandrock as they talk with disaster response experts about how healthcare providers - often the first responders in these cases - can best detect, report and respond to chemical and biological events. • im almost died from inalation of Hydrochloric acid, after a while it becomes hard to smell. Symptons include difficulties in thinking and breathing.

  • on the personal level the basics for any disaster ..stock canned food, keep a supply of bottled water on hand..etc. Politically.. elect responsible leadership into the appropriate public offices and pray they do the right thing so as to avoid drawing attacks or allowing industrial companies to skip safety procedures like in 3rd world countries.

  • any broad solutions Drac ? We can see many schools of thought for coming event . So many of them are not really as inevitable as we may have been taught over the eons .

  • That was exactly what I meant.Disasters can be man made and natural..both with devastating effects on all forms of life.

  • hope? fear can be the main culprit keeping us from finding sustainable solutions. I find it hard to put Chemical warfare in the same category as Disease and nature , unless you mean on a cause and effect level .

  • If you look in the book of Revelation the fourth seal, the second third and 5th trumpets the first 3 bowl judgments all involve massive loss of life by disease, chemical warfare or accidents and natural disasters..just hope i or my children don't have to live thru it all.

  • really just a matter of time on this path Drac. coca cola had a similar recent incident . As the West wanes as the #1 world power and economy , those '3rd world' issues will no doubt hit home here for the sake of capitalism.

  • I hope we never need this information
