  • And sure enough, in support of my comment in part1 of these lights? Nicholas: "Shane Thompson - where did he go?" Kiwi bloke: "He just faded away I guess."

I had never heard that before I wrote that last thing. Clearly, the failure of great Kiwi cricketing talent to fulfil its potential is chronic - and well-known!

  • @ludocrat Yeah i know, how funny was Martin Crowe's comment, just faded away....Shane Thompson played in the charity 2020 match a few months ago, he was fat and unfit and couldnt bat bowl or field, pretty much copped it from Greatbatch even though they had all been retired for a long time. Funny to watch! I should upload some of it.

  • @robelinda2 Copped it from Greatbatch for being fat!? Lol. Pots and kettles, surely?

Great cricketing knowledge on your part, robelinda. Much appreciated.

  • @ludocrat Yeah but Shane was REALLY fat! Greatbatch trains like mad, might be big but he was fit enough, and he batted like like 1992, smashed the bowling, and was pretty good in the field, as you would expect from a current national coach.

  • @robelinda2

Lol. My apologies to the Great Batch. Of course he's always been a natural athlete, a super-pro coach, a hard trainer and fit as a butcher's dog throughout. Hats off to him.

I must have been thinking of my own rapidly-inflating spare tyre. Projection ;)

  • @ludocrat Hah! Well Mark aint skinny, but anyone would look skinny next to Shane Thomson these days!!!!!!

  • This kind of innings will not be happen.I mean The runner rule how cruel is that? Thanks rob.

  • Mark Nicholas in top form here - some people bash him but for me he's very very good at describing and commentating cricket.

  • uffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff OMG iam watching this video i reckon after 10 yrs wooooooooooooow it reminds me a lot can't believe it how did this 10 yrs passed

  • You know I've been wondering how they have replacement balls for balls lost (such as at 05:27) I'm guessing its from county and first class matches, where they take away the ball after its certain overs old and so collect balls being 4, 8, 10, 12 , 50 etc etc overs old. Which means those bowlers get a new ball at a random time lol .. what do u say Rob?

  • @ravdestiy Why would it be an Aussie. Australians appreciate great innings not like some

  • Fuck if it comes off great if it doesn't shit happen. Great mind set I say

  • 9:42 - One of the most incredible shots one can ever hope to see!!

  • Many thanks for uploading!
