There was a genre of records that were called answer records, where a sort of follow-up song based on a hit song was recorded to cash in on the hit. This is different than a cover record that was exactly like the original.

Nice group of answer songs. Most of these I've never heard. One can only imagine how many of these there are for these songs. Keep posting more of these treasures.
