LDS scholars go over the accusation that certain grains mentioned in The Book of Mormon could not have been in the Americas during that time period (600 BC to 400 AD). This is only a portion of the section and will be released in it's entirety in an upcoming video from FAIR

  • Curse those facts!

  • That's why beer is loved by most in those days. Wheat and barley! Joseph Smith knew that back in the day because he loved beer as much as anyone. Maybe beer was also made here in America before the Europeans. I think when the word 'Sheum" is mentioned in the BOM it meant hops. Hops, Barley and wheat here in America!! Amazing find for beer!! I think this needs to be looked into more. Joseph Smith may be right about alot of things.

  • Wiki Hohokam and read it.

  • Thank you for addressing some of the anachronisms that have been touted by critics of the Book of Mormon for years. While intellectual exercise will never convince anyone of the truth of the book, it is a necessary precursor for many to allow them to exercise faith. Again, many thanks.
