You can kill on counter hit, it happens all the time. Nu has invincibility on the first few frames of her sword drop is all.

I'm pretty sure what happened was that pozer got a counterhit - and you can't kill people on counterhits. I'm by no means an expert, but I think that sounds about right?

A meaty attack is an attack with many active frames which is used to threaten the space an opponent's hitbox will occupy the moment that they are vulnerable. Meaty attacks are used most often against opponents that are waking up, but really it dosn't matter what the opponent is doing as long as you attack early in anticipation of their invulnerability going away.

I use to be a god at GG with Ky, but when BlazBlue came out, I lost it all... =(
But I still love BlazBlue, even though I suck at it =]

The Nu player got hit first. It's just that the drive still occurs after Nu gets hit and, even if we can't see it, Nu probably has about 1 hp left.
Sucks though. Would have liked to see a third round.

Actually, seeing the ending a bit more, V-13 DID take damage from that last move; it just traded hits, it seems.

it made sense, the attack did the damage but not enough to kill her, and she widdled down his defense to critical, and his health to less than a third so she took damage but not enough to win, and she used a powerfull attackj that did critical damage. it was fair, just unfortunate.

that's still ridiculous being able to tech -> super with a meaty 5D already directly over her. since when was mashing out super a reasonable way to win? SBO quality play obviously, top tier strats!
