  • It is quite sad that even after these loyal citizens of this nation fought against the axis of evil and were "welcomed" back with anti-japanese sentiment, sad. Why cant we look beyond race?

  • They are all American Wariors...Please, honor them...

  • @dblvajra Luck you. All of my Great-Uncles who fought in the war died in Italy, France, and then Germany. Hey that's all of them!

  • I had the Honor of giving one of the 442nd Veteran his funeral ceremony. I was stationed in Hawai'i with the25th Infantry Division. I was very emotional when we gave him the 21 gun salute. Iam Japanese/Filipino these men are my role models and to all Asian Americans who serve and gave their lives for this country.

  • I'm sitting here with one of the men in the honor guard of the 442nd in this video. He and his twin brother are the two on the ends with the rifles next to the flag bearers. He is 83 now and is proud of his time with the 100th. He and his brother served AFTER they were sent to internment camps. Both were wounded on the gothic line, but made it home.

  • Thanks for posting the clip of 35 Sqn Lancasters on Operation Goodwill. My father was on that tour - he was navigator on Lancaster G George (sqn code TL G). He really enjoyed the tour and the hospiatlity of the Americans.

  • The fact that these "dirty Japs" were able to outperform and earn more medals than any other division proportionaly goes to show how brave and determined these men were. These two battalions were the most feared by the Germans and goes to show that white people are not superior than other races. It is technology that enables white people to bully other "inferior races."

  • because there will always be white trash out there. Quite simply put, there are white people and then there's white trash.

  • Thank you for posting! Grandpa fought in the 442nd. They are such a great group of guys, then now and forever heroes!

  • wow, the sight of 16 lancs in daylight was amazing!! beautiful sound. thanks
