Would anyone of any intelligence or integrity believe that Anderson Cooper would ever intend to communicate that CNN never tolerates facts, regardless of what some transcript says?

We know that he would never have this intention.

Therefore, it would be lying to go on the air and report that he had.

If a reporter wanted to report this without lying to his audience, he or she would call CNN to verify Cooper's comment.
