How to do Batch Conversions in MPEG Streamclip

This video is an answer for GringoFILMS, who wanted to know how to do batch conversions of videos using MPEG Streamclip.

It is an easy process. You can do a LOT of clips at a time, and even can choose how many of them to simultaneously convert at a time.

I do this for working in Final Cut Pro with movie files taken with my Canon T2i all the time. (As the native AVCHD footage really bogs down my system when trying to edit without converting it first).

I'm confused, it suddenly says at point 6 to select your compression scheme and other settings. I've never come across this option during a Batch conversion.

@TheMusicandAudiofans Well, as you can see from the video the step is there. I am running Mpeg Streamclip Version 1.9.2 for Mac OSX. I haven't tried this on Windows. All I know is that it is supposed to be cross-platform and free. But there are probably variations between platforms or versions, but this step is one of the most crucial as far as customizing your clips the way you need them to be.
