Xeno Gran Canaria Ayagaures Jan 2011

Xeno (Multiplex) w/ custom tractor motor mount flying above Ayagaures, just 10 miles North of Maspalomas / Playa del Ingles.
The motor pod (30g EMAX 2805 2850kV) works well with 2s 1500 lipos and Graupner 6x3 CAM folder but due to high RPM and proximity of prop blades to canopy it is rather noisy. If the pod breaks I will make a more robust pusher mount and use some lead in the nose to achieve correct CG. The pusher might still be noisier though.
Flight characteristics of Xeno good but it needs some wind to perform, it tends to wallow in turbulent areas when flying slow, as can be seen in the video. With some speed it tracks nicely.
Its folding wing makes it a very good holiday plane, both for transport on the airline flight etc, and for taking it on bicycle trips like I did on the island of Gran Canaria.
